The Meaning Behind Jordan River

A Name Inspired by Faith and My Mother

Jordan River Caskets was founded in honor of my mother, Josefina Ramos. Her strength, faith, love for family, and the values she instilled in me continue to guide everything we do today.

The name Jordan River carries a double meaning. The Jordan River is one of the most meaningful places in the Christian faith, symbolizing renewal, peace, and spiritual hope. At the same time, the initials “J.R.” are a tribute to Josefina Ramos, whose memory remains at the heart of this company.

The Heart Behind Jordan River Caskets

Jordan River Caskets was founded in loving memory of Josefina Ramos, whose faith, strength, compassion, and devotion to family continue to inspire everything we do today.

Her initials, J.R., became part of the foundation of our name, while her values became the foundation of our mission. Through Jordan River Caskets, her legacy lives on by helping families honor their loved ones with dignity, faith, and respect.

Family-Owned

More Than 30 Years of Family Tradition

For more than three decades, our family has been involved in the craftsmanship, manufacturing, and service of funeral products, helping families honor life with dignity and respect.

Every casket we offer reflects skilled craftsmanship, cultural tradition, and the responsibility of helping families create a meaningful final tribute.

From Mexico to the United States

Bringing the Beauty of Mexico to Families Across America

We chose to bring these handcrafted caskets from Mexico to the United States because they carry something special: faith, heritage, handmade detail, and a sense of tradition many families immediately recognize.

For us, a casket is not just a product. It is part of the final tribute. It should reflect love, culture, respect, and the story of the person being honored.
